The article on Margaret thatcher seems to be one sided and is show
casing her negative side only.If you do not have strong leaders with
conviction it is very difficult to control the anarchy that may erupt. In
our own country, the labour unions are calling the bandhs at their wish
with least disregard for country's output. In such situations Margaret
Thatcher would prove an right answer, with popular public approval.

Margret Thatcher and Ronald Regan will go down in history as the people who sold an economic system
fathered by Milton Friedman to the unsuspecting world in the form of Open economy, Globalisation etc.The
repercussions of which reverberate this world even today with widening of the gap between the rich and the
poor, uncontrollable sovereign debt, Corruption , enviormental damage etc. It was all sold very efficiently

It is a sad irony that Thatcher's legacy was not properly evaluated by the media, both Indian and Western, praising her as an iron lady and a great woman. Her perilous policies, mostly anti-labour and colonial, left a dampening effect in on developing countries and her own country witnessed shut down of many industries giving prominent role to big Corporate houses. Her policies, domestic and International, caused much harm to struggling mankind everywhere. The British regime of Her times, actively encouraged Islamic Fanatics and still the whole world bear the brunt of many of her imprudent decisions
