A stone masonry reservoir.

The finds in Dholavira in Gujarat's Kutch district, unlike elsewhere, throw light on the rise and fall of the Indus civilisation in its entirety and in the correct sequence. By T.S. SUBRAMANIAN recently in Dholavira. Photographs by D. KRISHNAN.

I also visited Dholavira recently (June,2013),but my opinion is totally different from what is being said.It is a necropolis and not a citadel as being portrayed. Detailed justification can be seen under the web-page, "Dholavira - Bhoot Pradesh",in my website,"https://sites.google.com/site/induscivilizationsite/home/dholovera---photos---Jeyakumar Ramasami

Very interesting and wonderful pictures.
I wonder the role of Aryans in the desruction of these Harappan cities? In Rigveda and other literature, Indra is decpicted as PURANDHARA (destroyer of forts). Is it possible to relate to the invasion of Central Asian Nomads and destruction of these mature and settled Harappan Cities?
